On every one of the spreadsheets you will find on this blog the players are sorted by two numbers. Pitchers by "ADJ OBA" and Hitters by "ADJ AVG". These are quality measures that will be updated every week and used during the season to track who the best pitchers and hitters on the club are. They will also be used over time to track the trends for hitters and pitchers allowing us at a glance to see who's hot and getting hotter and who's cold and getting colder.
Over 4 years of use the pitching indicators have been proven to show (even before the club announces) who will be sent down to the minors for some work.
